We were so lucky to have such a great turn out for our Rae Francis and Jewelry by Allegra Trunk show on Wednesday, December 18th. Thank you to everyone who participated and attended! We raised a lot of money to donate to the Pat Reeves Village Shelter – we couldn’t be more proud to be helping such a worthy organization! The food and wine was donated by Gigi’s Tap and Table located here in Palm Beach and DJ Adam Lipson lent a hand and some tunes! Heather Lowenthal of Posh Parties styled the event! Here’s a little picture recap of the evening!!

Holiday Gift Guide: Bosses and Grandma

Channel Your Inner Boho Babe-ness at Rapunzel’s Closet!

This week we have the pleasure of hosting a trunk show for two local Palm Beach gals – Christina Coniglio and her design partner Ariel Lilly of Rae Francis and Allegra Fanjul of Jewelry by Allegra!! We love our locals and we jumped at the chance to get these talented designers all to ourselves for this special event! As an added bonus – Heather Lowenthal of Posh Parties is styling the event for us. Adam Lipson will be our guest DJ for the evening, and Gigi’s Tap and Table will be providing our sips and bites! How lucky are we??

We’ll be donating a portion of the proceeds from the evening to the Pat Reeves Village Homeless Shelter to make Welcome Baskets for the people who use the shelter. We’ll also have a donation station set up where guests can donate money directly to purchasing Welcome Basket items. We’ll be creating the baskets post event and delivering them to the shelter!

We Love Flavor

Rapunzel’s Closet had the honor of being asked to be the official retail sponsor for the Flavor Palm Beach Grand Tasting Gala on September 5th, 2013. The evening was perfect! The food was outstanding, the drinks were flowing, the setting at Palm Beach Motor Cars was fabulous, the fashion was MAHJ, and most important everyone was contributing to Share our Strength!  Seasoned models Sierra Kelly and Carin Acree worked the crowd and the runway during the show.
 Every fashion show needs a couple of stage hands right? Store Manager Stephanie Hall and Buyer Hallie Rosenthal kept things running smoothly behind the scenes.
 Minnie Rose generously donated tank dresses and Ruana sequin ponchos to the It! Girls. Lindsey White, Jennifer Harner and Aime Dunstan looked stunning!!
 Bourbon and Boweties brought the bling for the night.
 Rapunzel’s Closet donated gift bags for all the guests and they were filled with goodies from a bunch of the participating vendors! Special thanks to The Kitchen Prep and Aromaflage for their donations!
 We’re so thankful for our new friends Aime Dunstan the #1 It! Girl and Briana Bournique founder of Flavor PB pictured with our Buyer Hallie Rosenthal.

Kids Korner: PJ Drive Drop Off

Yesterday we had the pleasure of dropping off all the items we collected for our PJ and Book Drive at the Foster and Adoptive Parent’s Association of Palm Beach County. It was so wonderful to meet the people behind this great organization. They even presented us with a plaque which we’ll be displaying proudly at Lil Rapunzel’s!

Kid’s Korner ~ A Big Thanks For Your Donations!

We want to extend a huge thank you to our new friends at the Foster and Adoptive Parent’s Association of Palm Beach County for helping us make our PJ and book drive so worthwhile. We collected a lot of gently used PJs and books to donate from our Palm Beach and NYC mommas! We also want to thank Kissy Kissy and Michaelson Entertainment Publishing for donating some shiny new PJs and books for us to give to this awesome organization. We are truly appreciative of everyone’s thoughtfulness and help with getting the word out about our PJ and Book Drive. Most important we want to thank everyone who spent some time and collected items to donate to these fantastic kids.
